Okay, so this morning, like I often do, I wanted to see what was up with the sports news in Eenadu. It’s become a bit of a routine for me, helps me feel connected to what’s happening back home, especially with cricket.

First thing, I grabbed my phone. It was right there on the side table. Had to unlock it, you know, the usual screen swipe. Then I looked for the Eenadu app icon among all the others. Found it, tapped it open.
It took a couple of seconds to load up the main page. Sometimes it’s faster, sometimes slower, depends I guess. I didn’t really stick around on the main headlines page, usually full of politics or local news I catch up on later.
Finding the Sports News Bit
My main goal was the sports section. I think I tapped on the menu icon, usually three lines or something, in the corner. Then scrolled down the list of sections. Saw ‘Sports’ and tapped on that. Simple enough.
The sports page loaded up. Saw a bunch of headlines right away. Mostly cricket stuff, which is what I was looking for anyway. I scrolled down the page, just reading the main headlines mostly.
What I usually check quickly:

- Match results if there were any big games.
- Any news about Indian players or teams specifically.
- Sometimes look at the pictures if they look interesting.
I didn’t spend a long time reading every single detail. Just a quick scan, really. Got the gist of the main stories, saw the scores I was interested in. It’s more about just getting a quick update. Like, okay, saw that, know what happened. Good enough for the morning. Then I just closed the app. Put the phone down and went to get started with my day.
