Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another one of my little adventures. So, I’ve been getting back into basketball lately, you know, trying to relive the glory days. I figured I needed a new ball, and I’ve always heard good things about Cosco, so I thought, why not give it a shot? My quest today was simple: find out how much a Cosco basketball costs and maybe even snag one for myself.

First things first, I hit up the internet. I started browsing through some online stores in India, since that seems to be where Cosco is pretty big. The websites were all pretty much the same, showing a bunch of different Cosco basketballs, from outdoor ones to indoor ones, even some that were supposedly “FIBA approved” – whatever that means, it sounds fancy!
The prices were all over the place, though. It really depended on the size and what the ball was made of. Some were just basic rubber balls, others were this fancy-sounding “Slamdunker” model for both indoor and outdoor use. There was even a “Hi-Grip” one that came with a hand pump, which is kinda cool, I guess. I was actually really confused about the size because I found that even the professional WNBA uses the size 6 ball, so I thought should I also go with size 6?
After looking online, I decided to check out some actual stores. I figured maybe seeing them in person would help me decide. I went to a couple of different sports stores around town, and yeah, they had Cosco basketballs alright. The prices there were pretty much in line with what I saw online, so no big surprises there.
Honestly, after all that, I’m still not 100% sure which one to get. They all looked pretty decent, and the prices weren’t too crazy. I mean, it’s a basketball, not a car, right? At last, I decided to go with the size 7 because of my height. Although I have known that both the NBA and WNBA use the same size, I’m not a professional player so that I don’t need to be that serious.
Here’s what I gathered from my little basketball hunt:

- Cosco seems to be a popular brand, especially in India.
- They’ve got a bunch of different models, from basic to fancy.
- Prices vary depending on size, material, and features.
- You can find them online or in stores, and the prices are pretty similar.
So, there you have it, folks. That was my experience looking for a Cosco basketball. I ended up grabbing one from the store, a size 7 “Slamdunker” model, just because it felt right in my hands. Time to hit the court and see if I’ve still got it! Wish me luck!
