They got this fella, Madan Paliwal, he’s the big cheese. Started this whole thing, Miraj Group, back in ’86, they say. Used to be just a little thing, worth hardly nothing, but now? Oh, it’s worth a whole heap of money. Millions, I hear! He’s been in this picture show business for a long time. More than 15 years, they say. That’s longer than some of you young folks have been alive!
They got their hands in all sorts of pies. They make them movies, they show ’em in them big fancy theaters. They even got places you can buy stuff and places you can stay. Real fancy, I bet. This Miraj Entertainment, it’s a part of that bigger Miraj Group thing.

This company, it’s in India. Heard they got a big office in Mumbai. That’s a big city over there. They say it’s in a place called Maharashtra. Don’t ask me where that is, I ain’t never been. They also got a place in Gurugram, and one in New Delhi. That’s what I heard, anyway. They’re all over the place in India, I tell ya.
And this other fella, Amit Sharma, he’s important too, I guess. He is the MD, whatever that means. Heard him talking about going to new places. Chandrapura, Hisar, Sonipat. Sounds like they’re trying to get even bigger, this Miraj Entertainment. They’re looking for places no one’s been before with their picture shows.
They got lots of people working for ’em. More than 200, someone said. All busy making movies and showing ’em to folks. Miraj Entertainment, it’s a busy place, that’s for sure. They call them “self-starting.” That means they work hard, I reckon. They don’t need no one telling them what to do.

They been around for 16 years, this Miraj Entertainment. That’s a long time in my book. They started small, but they grew and grew. Now they’re all over the place. That Madan Paliwal, he must be a smart one. Turning a little nothing into a big something. That’s what they say about him, anyway.
They got all the numbers and stuff about this company somewhere. Financial data, they call it. How much money they make and all that. Important stuff for the bigwigs, I guess. Not for me. I just like watching the picture shows.
So, this Miraj Entertainment Limited, they’re a big deal in the entertainment world. They make the movies, they show the movies, they got the theaters. They’re everywhere in India, and they’re only getting bigger. You just remember that name: Miraj Entertainment. You’ll be hearing it a lot more, I betcha.
