Checking Out Elite Football Academy in Sahakar Nagar
So, I’d been hearing the name floating around – Elite Football Academy, the one over in Sahakar Nagar. You know how it is, you hear things, get curious. I like seeing how folks are teaching the game locally, especially to the young ones. Decided it was time to stop wondering and actually go have a look myself. Just a casual visit, see what’s what.

Finding the place wasn’t too hard, tucked away a bit, but manageable. Pulled up on a weekday afternoon, thinking I might catch some training in action. First impression? Well, it looked like a place serious about football. You could hear the shouts and the thud of the ball before you even got properly close.
Walked over towards the main pitch. It wasn’t massive, but looked reasonably maintained. Saw a couple of groups of kids, different age ranges I guess, busy with drills. Cones laid out, coaches directing things. Spent a good hour just watching from the sidelines. Here’s some stuff I noticed:
- The coaches seemed pretty involved, actively demonstrating moves, not just shouting orders.
- Kids were energetic, definitely putting effort in, seemed like they wanted to be there.
- Equipment looked standard, nothing fancy, but functional – goals, balls, markers, the usual stuff.
- There was a certain intensity, but it didn’t feel overly pressured, which I think is good for younger players.
Didn’t really talk to anyone official. Saw some parents watching too, chatted briefly with one dad. He seemed happy enough, said his kid loved coming here. That’s usually a good sign, right? When the kids themselves are keen.
Overall, my little field trip was pretty straightforward. Got there, watched the practice, got a feel for the place. It seemed like a dedicated setup. No frills, just football. They seem focused on the training itself. Left feeling it’s probably a decent spot for kids in the area who are serious about learning the game. Just my observation from hanging around for a bit, putting my own eyes on it rather than just relying on hearsay. Always better to see for yourself.
