Okay, so I’ve been following the new season of Demon Slayer, and let me tell you, episode 7 of the Entertainment District Arc is a wild ride. I had just finished watching episode 6, which I thought was pretty amazing, but then episode 7 came along and just blew it out of the water. The action scenes are even more intense than before!

I also got really into Zenitsu’s story. In this episode, it showed how much angry he was, I could not believe my eyes. From the information I searched on the Internet, it seemed that no one was there for his beloved Gramps when he committed seppuku. Man, that’s heavy stuff. Knowing that he died alone and no one mourned him really puts Zenitsu’s character development into perspective, especially in the final arc.
The Death of Kyojuro Rengoku
Speaking of emotional moments, I couldn’t help but think back to the Mugen Train arc. The scene where Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira, died was one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen in Demon Slayer. I mean, this guy was a total hero, so brave and good-hearted, and he inspired Tanjiro and his friends. He went up against Akaza, Upper Moon 3, to protect Tanjiro, and… well, you know how it ended. It still gets me every time I think about it. He was such an amazing character in this arc, his death made me cry out loud.
Season Structure
- Mugen Train Arc: 7 episodes
- Entertainment District Arc: 11 episodes
Oh, and about the season structure, I found out that they split it into two parts. I thought it was a little confusing at first, but it makes sense. The first part is the Mugen Train arc, which is 7 episodes long, and then the second part is the Entertainment District arc, which is 11 episodes. So, if you’re like me and were wondering why episode 7 felt like a mid-season finale, that’s why. And yeah, technically, the whole thing is longer than 7 episodes if you count both arcs.
Anyway, I just had to share my thoughts on this episode. It’s definitely one of the best in the series so far, and I can’t wait to see what happens next. I am really looking forward to the next episodes. If you guys watched it, what do you think about it?
